Next Big Crypto Wave: Analyst Spotlights 13 Potential Breakout Altcoins

Cryptocurrency expert, Viktor, has cast his analytical gaze over the vast landscape of the digital coin marketplace, offering his predictions on where the next wave of interest could be headed.

In a recent commentary, Viktor delved into the complex factors that shape the ebbs and flows of cryptocurrency values. His insights reveal a forecast of the future of some of the most promising and buzzworthy digital currencies currently in circulation.

According to Viktor, Bitcoin (BTC) continues to hold its reign as the most secure long-term investment option, buoyed by the potential approval of an exchange-traded fund (ETF). In the wake of recent news of Ripple’s (XRP) lawsuit settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, he also suggests that Ethereum (ETH) could see an uptick in interest and trust among non-Bitcoin investors.

Turning his attention to alternative layer-1 platforms, Viktor highlighted Solana (SOL). Its strong recent performance in non-securities and a zealous community of advocates and promoters mark it as a stand-out contender.

Notably, Viktor also gave a nod to Lido (LDO), a system that builds on Ethereum by offering the opportunity for users to stake their cryptocurrency and reap rewards, all without tying up their assets.

Polygon (MATIC) was also commended by Viktor. Undergoing a rebranding process and demonstrating a shift towards non-security, it’s set to gain a new moniker—POL. Additionally, Viktor suggests the Optimism (OP) token could benefit from the soon-to-launch Base mainnet, an initiative by Coinbase.

Declaring the DeFi bear market officially over, Viktor flagged Synthetix (SNX) as one to watch. However, he also proposed that Ripple (XRP) and Stellar (XLM), having hit a peak after the aforementioned SEC lawsuit news, could potentially be candidates for short selling.

Viktor also broached the question of whether Avalanche (AVAX) could mirror the success of Solana, given its similar claims of high scalability and low transaction costs. He further brought Conflux (CFX) Network into the spotlight, pointing to its growing popularity in 2023. He also made mention of Pepe (PEPE), a digital coin known for its strong performance in bullish conditions.

In his final analysis, Viktor cast doubt over the future of Bitcoin Cash. (BCH) Its outdated positioning as a faster, cheaper version of Bitcoin suggests it might be a candidate for shorting or hedging against other coins, according to the analyst.
