Forget the conventional grays and beiges—this Embraer Praetor 600 custom jet is redefining luxury in the skies. For Miami-based businessman Ibrahim Al-Rashid and his wife Ryann, who are also local philanthropists, the delivery of their first jet marked the finale of an ambitious, two-year design project. When the couple ordered their $26 million super midsize Praetor 600 in 2023, they envisioned more than a conventional interior—they wanted a statement of refined opulence and bold design from the outset.
When Miami-based businessman Ibrahim Al-Rashid and his wife Ryann decided to purchase their first private jet, they weren’t just buying a plane—they were commissioning a flying work of art. Delivered in early 2025, their $26 million Embraer Praetor 600 isn’t just a means of transportation; it’s a bold design statement that breaks free from the traditional aircraft interior mold.
The journey from concept to reality spanned two years, with the Al-Rashids deeply involved in every aspect of the design. As frequent travelers—both for business and family—they envisioned an aircraft that felt personal, inviting, and sophisticated. For Ibrahim, CEO of Limestone Asset Management, and Ryann, a design enthusiast with a sharp eye, this was about more than elegance. It was about creating something that reflected their identity. “We wanted something that wouldn’t feel dated the moment we stepped inside,” says Ibrahim.

“This wasn’t just a project—it was a passion”
Though this was their first personal aircraft, the Al-Rashids weren’t new to private aviation. Ibrahim grew up flying aboard Gulfstreams owned by his father, and that early exposure helped shape his tastes. With seating for 11, the Praetor 600 balances business efficiency with family functionality. Since its delivery, it has already whisked the couple and their children to destinations like Geneva, Bermuda, and Mexico—with a round-the-world tour planned for summer.

The couple split responsibilities—he handled the sleek, white-and-blue-gold fuselage, while she spearheaded the interior design. Ryann drew initial inspiration from the interior of a Rolls-Royce she once owned, but the final aesthetic is entirely unique: refined, warm, and layered with rich detail. Determined to avoid sterile or outdated wood tones, she selected Breeze Oak Recon, a veneer not even in Embraer’s standard catalog.
“I didn’t want gray, and definitely not black—it needed warmth without being overpowering,” she explains
This natural wood serves as the elegant backdrop for white ultraleather seating, delicately stitched to evoke the wave patterns of Rio’s Ipanema boardwalk. Brown accents and rose gold hardware add depth and cohesion throughout the cabin, echoing the quiet luxury of high-end residential interiors.

If there’s one show-stopping detail, it’s the custom carpet—a creative triumph born from dozens of discarded ideas. Woven from Cambria wool and silk, with intricate rose gold threading, the design illustrates the Amazon rainforest transforming into a circuit board—a powerful symbol of nature and technology in harmony.
“We must’ve seen 30 different designs before this one,” says Ryann. “But this carpet? It felt both serene and powerful. It instantly clicked”
Beyond the aesthetics, the aircraft is equipped for maximum functionality. It features forward club and divan seating, stowable workstations, a fully enclosed lavatory, and dual Wi-Fi systems including Gogo Avance L5 and Ka-band satellite. The galley is finished with Breeze Oak cabinetry, Labrador Antique stone countertops, and all the essentials—microwave, oven, refrigerator, and coffee maker.

Tech-wise, the Praetor 600 boasts Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics with synthetic vision guidance, predictive wind shear alerts, and vertical weather radar. Embraer’s Active Turbulence Reduction System constantly adjusts in real time to ensure smooth flights under varying conditions.

Conventional wisdom says bold interiors limit resale appeal—but in this case, the opposite has proven true.
“We get offers weekly,” Ryann says. “People are drawn to the originality. We took risks—and they paid off”
As the Al-Rashids prepare for global adventures in their airborne masterpiece, their jet serves not only as a travel companion, but as a flying expression of who they are: bold, elegant, and unafraid to break the mold.
