Queen Mary of Denmark just delivered a masterclass in summer power dressing—and she did it in a rewear. Joining King Frederik at Copenhagen’s Amager Strand to mark the 25th anniversary of the Øresund Bridge, the Australian-born royal stepped out in a bold coral suit by Scanlan Theodore. The moment wasn’t just about fashion. It was about making a statement.

The royal couple joined Sweden’s King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia for the diplomatic celebration. While the day symbolized unity between Denmark and Sweden, Mary’s look bridged fashion and function. Her structured silhouette, vibrant hue, and breathable fabric showed how power dressing can still feel effortless in the summer heat.

It wasn’t a new outfit—but that’s the point. Queen Mary first wore the coral suit in 2022 during a visit to the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. Then, she paired it with a beige Chanel handbag and nude heels. This time, she gave the look a fresh spin.

For the bridge anniversary, she styled the suit with a ruched blouse by By Malene Birger, rose suede Jimmy Choo Romy 85 heels, and pearl drop earrings by Dulong Fine Jewelry. A pair of Ray-Ban RB4362 sunglasses added the perfect laid-back touch. The result? A high-powered look that balanced polish with personality.

This appearance is likely one of the final royal engagements before the Danish royals head into their summer retreat. The palace confirmed that Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte will join them in South Jutland later this month. Yet even with royal downtime on the horizon, Mary’s coral moment will stick with us.

Why? Because it proves that repeating outfits doesn’t mean repeating style. And that real power dressing doesn’t always involve a dress.
