Waldorf Astoria is making its grand debut in the Lone Star State, and it’s heading straight into the heart of Texas wine country. Slated to open in 2027, Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country will be located in the scenic town of Fredericksburg—just under two hours from Austin and San Antonio.

Backed by Wine Country Hospitality Partners LLC, the project unites three hospitality heavyweights: Mark Harmon, founder of Auberge Resorts Collection; Robert Radovan, luxury developer of award-winning destinations like Calistoga Ranch; and Tim Sparapani, a strategic investor and former Director of Public Policy at Facebook.
