Dakota Fanning brought high shine and Hollywood glamour to Paris Fashion Week, turning heads in a gold leather suit at the Chanel Fall/Winter 2025 show. The event, held at the iconic Grand Palais, marked Fanning’s first Chanel show in Paris, and she made sure to dress for the occasion.
Wearing a look from the Métiers d’art 2024/25 collection, the actress stepped out in a golden crumpled leather jacket with delicate floral detailing on the pockets, paired with matching pants. She completed the look with a metal and strass belt, gold platform heels with a black cap toe, and a Chanel bag, all accessorized with 18k yellow gold Coco Crush earrings.
“I wanted to do something to push it a little bit,” Fanning told ELLE.com. “You’re at Paris Fashion Week, you’re at the Chanel show, so you can take a little bit of a risk.”
While the ensemble was a bold move from her usual style, Fanning kept her hair and makeup clean and minimal, letting the shimmering suit speak for itself.

The actress described the experience as “a pinch-me dream come true,” adding that the entire moment felt like “being a ray of sunshine.” Fanning attended the show with her best friend and gushed about the new Chanel bag designs, especially those shaped like bows and made from a variety of materials.
“It was very classic Chanel, but very playful,” she said. “I’m such a girly girl at heart. My soul is very feminine.”
