DJ Khaled is taking “album mode” to a whole new level — sprinting shirtless in the street with viral influencer Ashton Hall, all while hyping fans for his upcoming album Aalam of God.
In a hilarious yet intense video posted on Thursday, May 22, the Grammy-winning mogul — rocking just a weighted vest, shorts, and sneakers — can be seen dashing alongside Hall in front of two Maybachs, showing off his surprisingly fast pace and even faster hustle. “ALBUM [MODE] ! AALAM OF [GOD],” he captioned the clip on Instagram.
The unexpected duo teamed up after Khaled was inspired by Hall’s now-viral “insane morning routine” videos. Just 24 hours earlier, Khaled posted a teaser photo, saying, “Today decided to go to the gym! Meet my trainer.”
In behind-the-scenes footage shared via TikTok, Khaled dropped his signature positivity, saying, “We don’t lose weight. All we do is win. Now we might get rid of weight, but we don’t lose weight.”
Hall, hyping the moment, added: “We living.” The video feels like a real-time manifestation — motivation turning into motion — with Khaled sharing, “First thing I told you, I was like, ‘Yo, your videos inspire me… pull out the black truck.’ I said bring me the vest, the athletic tape… we gotta document the moment.”
The result? A sprint video that’s part workout, part comedy, and full-on Khaled energy.
While his fitness journey gets attention, DJ Khaled is also laser-focused on Aalam of God, his 14th studio album, first teased in February through a now-deleted, seven-minute cinematic trailer directed by Eif Rivera. The trailer — starring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos — followed Khaled through action-packed scenes involving secret briefcases, wild chases, rooftop jumps, and close calls.
Wahlberg’s character even drops juicy hints, saying the album contains “two Drake songs” and possibly another epic Jay-Z verse like the one on “God Did.” The suspense builds further when Khaled ends a dramatic phone call with: “Send Rihanna the record.”
With adrenaline, ambition, and now cardio in the mix — Khaled’s next album rollout is nothing short of cinematic. And if Sin City had a gym, DJ Khaled just ran through it.
