Superstar Jennifer Lopez is stepping into a new chapter of her life after a tumultuous 2024 that saw the cancellation of her This Is Me… Now tour and the end of her marriage to Ben Affleck. In a heartfelt interview with Spanish publication El País, Lopez reflected on the personal transformation she’s undergone — and the promises she made to her children to weather the storm with strength.
“I really dug deep,” Lopez shared
Revealing that the past year was filled with self-reflection, therapy, and a quest to understand the emotional patterns that shaped her life. “What are the patterns that I’ve had and why they happen? What is it about me that’s creating these patterns?” she asked herself during a year of intense personal growth.
At the center of her healing process were her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
“I said, ‘I promise you, this is a difficult time, but you’re going to see that I’ll come out the other side stronger and better,’” Lopez told them
Now, with 2025 well underway, the Jenny from the Block singer says her children feel that strength radiating from her. “They feel it now. That gives me a great sense of peace in my life,” Lopez affirmed.
Reclaiming her confidence and passion, Lopez is preparing for her next big move — the Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour. She hinted at debuting new songs that reflect her current emotional space, saying they’ll be
“very indicative of what I’m feeling now, which is kind of free”
