What if the reggaetón of the future is written by women? Karol G is already answering that question — and leading the charge.

In the music video for her new single “Latina Foreva,” the Colombian superstar storms onto a frozen landscape with the kind of heat that melts glaciers. It’s a striking image — and a symbolic one. Released as her first track of 2025, “Latina Foreva” is more than just a banger; it’s a statement of purpose.

Produced by Mazzarri and Misha, the track mixes classic reggaetón rhythms with Y2K-inspired pop melodies, creating a sound that’s both nostalgic and futuristic. Karol G is pushing boundaries — again — while staying deeply rooted in Latin musical identity.

The visual, directed by Pedro Artola, was shot in the snowy landscapes of California, a far cry from the tropical settings usually associated with Latin pop. The icy setting, combined with an all-Latin cast that includes flamenco guitarist José Del Tomate, gives the video a bold contrast: cold surroundings, but warm, undeniable energy.

Following the global success of her Netflix documentary “Mañana Fue Muy Bonito” — which hit No. 1 in 19 countries — Karol G shows no signs of slowing down. “Latina Foreva” continues her evolution as not just a music star, but a cultural icon. The song positions her at the forefront of a rising wave of Latin women dominating the global scene, alongside artists like María Becerra and Young Miko.

    Karol G isn’t just riding a trend — she’s shaping one.

To top it off, the singer has just been nominated in three categories at the 2025 American Music Awards, including Favorite Latin Artist, further cementing her place as a global pop powerhouse.

With “Latina Foreva,” Karol G reminds the world: Latin women are here, they’re leading — and they’re here forever.
