Mexican rock legends Maná have released a powerful new rendition of their iconic track “Vivir Sin Aire,” this time in collaboration with regional Mexican star Carín León. The emotional duet marks the final chapter of the band’s celebrated duets project, which began in 2019 with “Rayando El Sol” featuring Pablo Alborán. The new version is part of their upcoming album Noches de Cantina, a tribute to their legacy featuring reimagined versions of their greatest hits.
The project brings together Maná with an impressive lineup of artists including Alejandro Fernández, Christian Nodal, Edén Muñoz, Joy, Mabel, Marco Antonio Solís, Sebastián Yatra, and more. With Carín León, “Vivir Sin Aire” gets a heartfelt transformation, blending León’s raw, expressive voice with Fher Olvera’s signature delivery. Originally featured on the 1992 album Dónde Jugarán Los Niños, the song remains one of Latin rock’s most enduring anthems.
“Vivir Sin Aire” arrives just as Maná gears up for an extensive world tour following their historic nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band will headline seven major festivals in Spain during June and July before launching a massive tour across the United States and Canada this fall. The tour, named after one of their most beloved songs, promises electrifying performances filled with passion, energy, and the timeless music that has defined generations.
The upcoming album Noches de Cantina will be available not only digitally but also in physical formats, including CD and vinyl, giving fans a chance to experience the band’s legacy in high-quality sound.
