Melina Cantero, professionally known as “Mel,” is not just shaping fashion—she’s redefining it. Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Melina has risen to prominence as a fashion stylist, creative director, and graphic designer known for turning everyday looks into editorial masterpieces. Her work, which fuses timeless elegance with edgy innovation, has graced the pages of top fashion magazines, music videos, and major red carpet events.
What makes Melina stand out in a saturated industry is her ability to craft personalized fashion narratives. “I connect deeply with clients, crafting unforgettable experiences. For me, fashion is storytelling,” she explains. That ethos is reflected in every garment, accessory, and visual she touches—each look is more than fabric; it’s a form of expression.
A graduate of the University of Palermo’s Faculty of Communication and Design, Melina holds dual degrees in Fashion Production (2019) and Graphic Design (2021). Her bilingual fluency in English and Spanish has allowed her to build an international portfolio while remaining grounded in her Argentine roots.

Melina’s styling portfolio reads like a who’s-who of Latin pop culture. She has worked with acclaimed actors such as Benjamin Alfonso and Maite Lanata, styled Dalex for his 2024 performance with Justin Quiles at the Movistar Arena, and continued collaborating with Dalex at Spain’s WiZink Center alongside The Academy—a Latin music collective that includes Lenny Tavarez, Sech, J Quiles, and producer Dimelo Flow. This year, she also styled Venezuelan artist Mari La Carajita for her viral hit music video, Prioridad, further expanding her global fashion footprint.
Melina’s influence also extends into the business world. As the creative director of Lara Casa, one of Buenos Aires’ top shoe brands, she oversees everything from visual campaigns to communications and design. Under her leadership over the past three years, the brand has undergone a transformation, evolving into a fashion-forward label that mirrors her signature blend of sophistication and edge.
From editorial shoots to concert stages, Melina’s style is versatile yet consistent—always polished, always intentional. Her fashion is wearable art, and her direction is visionary. She doesn’t follow trends; she defines them.
