Tuesday night in Lake Como marked a series of stylish firsts for actress Sarah Catherine Hook. Known for her role as Piper Ratliff in The White Lotus Season 3, Hook not only touched down in Italy for the first time but also attended her very first Chanel fashion show—an experience she describes as unforgettable.

“This is already off to a pretty iconic start,” Hook shared while getting ready for the Cruise 2025/26 show. “Lake Como is just the most beautiful place in the world. You can feel the history here, and Chanel’s connection to cinema adds even more magic.”

For her debut Chanel appearance, Hook wore Look 29 from the Fall-Winter 2025/26 Ready-to-Wear pre-collection—a black satin crepe gown that required zero tailoring. “Usually outfits need some tweaks, but this one fit perfectly. It’s chic, classic, and very Chanel,” she said. With the stunning Villa d’Este as her backdrop, she embraced the elegance of the evening effortlessly.

While she now exudes fashion confidence, Hook admits that finding her personal style was once a challenge.

“Growing up, I didn’t love my body and wasn’t sure how to dress it. Acting helped me learn to explore style through characters, and now I’ve come into my own. I know what works for me and what makes me feel beautiful”

For glam, Hook kept things fresh and glowing. “I like to look like myself—dewy, clean, and a bit sun-kissed. Something that fits the vibe of being in Lake Como, like I’ve just spent the day by the water.”

Hook’s experience with resort wear comes from filming The White Lotus Season 3 in Thailand. Although her personal style isn’t as cottage-core as her character Piper’s, she collaborated closely on her wardrobe.

“We were really intentional with Piper’s arc—starting with floaty, soft looks and shifting as she evolved. The nightgowns and princess dresses eventually make way for a new version of her”

When asked what style advice she’d give Piper, Hook smiled, “Keep doing you, girl! She’s still in college—she’ll figure it out.”

Looking ahead, Hook will appear in Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of People We Meet on Vacation, based on the beloved novel by Emily Henry.

“It was a dream—the setting in Tuscany, the character, the wardrobe. I felt like a 60s Hollywood glamour girl,” she said. “It was the perfect mix of fashion, film, and fun”

From Lake Como elegance to Hollywood charm, Sarah Catherine Hook is stepping confidently into the spotlight—and she’s doing it in style.
