New Zealand indie rock band The Beths have announced an extensive 2025 North American tour, coinciding with the release of their new single, “Metal.” This track marks their first original release since 2023 and delves into themes of physical and emotional vulnerability. Frontwoman Elizabeth Stokes describes “Metal” as a reflection on her recent health struggles and the complexities of existing in a human body.

The tour kicks off on October 30 in Asheville, NC, and spans various cities across the U.S. and Canada, concluding on December 9 in Washington, D.C. Notable stops include Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and Brooklyn. The band will be joined by supporting acts such as Phoebe Rings, Bret McKenzie, Squirrel Flower, and Illuminati Hotties on select dates.

In addition to the tour announcement, The Beths have signed with ANTI- Records, signaling a new chapter in their musical journey. The release of “Metal” offers fans a glimpse into the band’s evolving sound and introspective lyricism.
